The romantic, dramatic American film "Along for the Ride", which was released on the platform on May 6, climbed to the top of the preferences of the TV audience on Netflix, both in our country and worldwide.

The Netflix production film is Sofia Alvarez's directorial debut and is based on the novel of the same name written by Sarah Dessen in 2019.

The plot revolves around the romantic romance that develops between Auden, an introverted teenage girl, and Eli, a mysterious young man whom Auden meets on her last summer before she starts college. Although the case seems predictable and standardized, the challenges one encounters when getting out of the seat belt are captured in a realistic and unadorned way.

According to a review published in the Young Post, "Along for the Ride" is a cheesy yet enjoyable film that explores the intricacies of family life, the excitement of moving to a new place, and the psychological ups and downs of teen love life.

Several complimenting comments have also been published about the atmospheric, summer musical investment of the film by Beach House.

The film stars Emma Pasarow, Belmont Cameli, Kate Bosworth, Laura Kariuki, Andie MacDowell and Dermot Mulroney.
