The four infants who contracted measles and are being treated at Makarios Hospital are out of danger, the Director of the Hospital's Pediatric Clinic, Dr. Avraam Elias, told CNA.
In response to a question from CNA regarding the health status of the four infants, aged 13,14, 16, 17 and XNUMX months, who attend the same kindergarten, Mr. Elias said that they are out of danger.
According to Mr. Elias, the condition of a 6-month-old infant with bacterial meningitis who was admitted to the hospital a few days ago is stable and out of danger.
When asked, Mr. Elias said that the best way to protect is vaccination.
