Municipality of Agioi Anargyroi - Kamatero
The Municipality of Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero continues in the framework of preventive measures with greater intensity the disinfection in all municipal gathering places (schools, sports facilities, KAPI, KEP, conservatories, stadiums, nurseries, etc.).
As part of this action, all the schools of the Municipality and the kindergartens will remain closed on Monday, March 9.
An additional measure is the re-supply of schools with antiseptics and disinfectants.
Municipality of Nea Ionia
The Mayor of Nea Ionia, Despina Thomaidou, in the context of the planned disinfection of school units as a measure to prevent and limit the coronavirus, decided to close schools in Nea Ionia.
Specifically:
On Monday 9/3/2020, the closing of the schools of Primary Education (Kindergartens and Primary Schools), the Evening EPAL and the 2nd and 7th Kindergartens for one (1) day.
On Tuesday 10/3/2020, the closing of the Secondary Schools (Gymnasiums and Lyceums), of the 1st EPAL, SEK and of the 1st, 3rd and 5th Kindergartens of the Municipality of Nea Ionia for one (1) day.
The above schools will be closed due to disinfection of their premises, as part of preventive measures to avoid COVID-19 (coronavirus).
On the respective days, there will be no afternoon activities in the school premises by clubs.
Municipality of Nea Makri
The Mayor of Marathon, Mr. Stergios Tsirkas, announced the suspension of the operation of the school units, Special Primary School of Nea Makri, Pammakaristos and Special Kindergarten of Nea Makri, Pammakaristos from Thursday, March 5 until Monday, March 9 for precautionary reasons.
Schools are closed for precautionary reasons as a large number of students are absent due to viral infections and to protect the rest of the student population.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, the schools will operate normally.
