Consultations on the financial incentives for public doctors are on the table with representatives of the unions of the Pan-Cypriot Union of Government Doctors (PASYKI) and PASYDY to meet today, Thursday, at 11:00 with the Minister of Health, Michalis Damianos.
Invited by the KYPE to report what will be discussed today, the President of PASYKI, Sotiris Koumas, stated that the first pillar of the discussion will be the proposal for the financial incentives of doctors for the years 2025-2027 and the second pillar is the counter-proposal that is expected from the Minister of Health for the financial incentives of doctors for the years 2023-2024. He also indicated that the time frame for the negotiations given is until next February.
Also, Mr. Koumas said that "some new data have now been formed after the last meeting of the Parliamentary Health Committee, where it was shown that there was additional content in the auditor's report, which OKYpY concealed".
