13 new works adorn the Sculpture Park of Ayia Napa (IMAGES)

For the third consecutive week, eleven distinguished sculptors, who participate in the 6nd Phase of the 13th International Sculpture Symposium, create XNUMX works in the area of ​​the Sculpture Park, several of which have become emblematic.

The 6nd Phase of the 15th International Sculpture Symposium started on March 15 and will end on April XNUMX.

It features artists: Daniel Perez from Spain with "Fragmented Memories", Georgian Ivan Malkhaz Tsiskadze with "Pegasus" and "Ninpha", Ukrainians Olena Dodatko, Ihor Tkachivskyi and Ina Tkachivska with " Grain "," Love as Symbol of Goodness "," Pegasus "and" Life ", Viktar Kopach from Belarus, who created the work" Happiness ", Sestilio Burattini from Italy with the work" Wind Mills ", the Russian Nikolay Karlykhanov with "Minotaur", Saeid Ahmadi from Iran with "Memory", Belgian Thierry Lauwers with "Artemis" and Ciprian Hopertean from Romania with "Gate to the Sea ».

The world-famous Spanish Sculptor Daniel Perez has already completed his work "Fragmented Memories" and the Mayor Mr. Giannis Karousos awarded it during the closing ceremony of the "3rd Ayia Napa International Street Art Festival", which took place last Friday 29 March, commemorative plaque and gifts.

Mr. Karousos thanked and at the same time congratulated the Spanish Sculptor for the excellent work he created and addressed him with an open invitation to participate in the next banquets that will be organized by the Municipality.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Sculpture Symposium of Ayia Napa, Mr. Kikis Konstantinou, spoke at length about the artist, making special mention of his ethos, his hard work and his artistic contribution to the world becoming despite his young age.

For his part, the Spanish Sculptor Daniel Perez, after thanking the Mayor, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee and the Cultural Officer of the Municipality for the excellent hospitality he received, spoke with the best words about the Sculpture Park.
