The memorial service for the heroically fallen and the unjustly executed by the barbaric invaders was held today, August 29, in the Refugee Settlement of Agios Georgios Vrysoullos - Acheritos.
The government was represented by the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis.
Among others, representatives of the Church were present, the President of the Free Acheritos Association Mr. Sotiris Eleftheriou, the President of the Acheritos Community Mr. Michalis Kaounas, MPs, representatives of parties, Police, National Guard, families of heroes, friends and organized groups.
After the memorial service, a prayer was also raised to find our missing. A trishagio followed and the laying of wreaths at the Monument of the Fallen and Missing.
