Journalist Pampos Vassilas passed away today at the age of 50.
The deceased served journalism in Cyprus for more than 25 years. Until his death he was a correspondent in Larnaca and the free province of Famagusta of the newspaper "Phileleftheros", while he had worked in other newspapers.
Pampos Vassilas was a refugee from Achna, he lived in Dasaki of Achna and recently he was admitted to the Hospital with health problems.
Yesterday, Tuesday, December 28, he underwent long hours of open heart surgery, but unfortunately he did not succeed.
The deceased leaves a daughter, mother, siblings, relatives, while leaving an unfilled gap for the friends and colleagues who worked with them.
The funeral will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11 in the morning at the Church of Agia Marina and Archangel Michael in Dasaki of Achna.
