In the last few hours, photos of dead fish found dead in the Achna dam, in the province of Famagusta, have been making the rounds on the internet.

According to the first estimates, the death of the fish is due either to the cold or to the waste that citizens throw into the water.

So far there is no indication that the fish deaths are linked to the recent earthquakes.
