The Municipality of Ayia Napa (Achna Municipal District) organizes on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. at the Church of Agia Marina and Archangel Michael in Dasaki Achna the annual National Memorial of the Heroes of the Liberation Struggle of the EOKA. 1955-59 and of those who heroically fell and were killed in the National Struggles of Cyprus against the Turkish occupiers in the period 1967-1974.
The memorial speech will be delivered by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou. During the event, a prayer will be held for the recovery of the missing persons, followed by the laying of wreaths at the monument to the Fallen and Missing.
