Work to remove, move and reinstall signs on the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway will take place on Wednesday, July 9.

An announcement by the Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works states that "on Wednesday, July 9, on the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway (A2), from the junction with the Nicosia-Limassol motorway to the Rizoelia roundabout, work will be carried out to remove, move and reinstall signs in the direction towards Larnaca. The work will be carried out between the hours of 09:30 and 13:30".

During the execution of the works, the left lane of traffic on the motorway will be closed locally, for approximately 100m, and traffic will be diverted to the right lane.

The Department of Public Works "apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police."
