The situation with the flies in Achna is unbearable

Perdiki Environment

A serious problem with the stench and swarms of insects caused by manure has been created in the community of Achna Forest according to the Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation.

Specifically, the Famagusta District Committee of the Ecologists 'Movement - Citizens' Cooperation received many complaints from the residents of Achna about the unbearable situation that has been created due to the uncontrolled disposal of manure from livestock units.

The community suffers from the stench and swarms of flies and other insects that attract manure.

Unfortunately, despite the appeals of the residents and the community authority, the appropriate spraying of livestock units has not been done, nor have the authorities been able to control the disposal of manure by the cow breeding units that "encircle" the remote community in Dasaki of Achna.

The Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation calls on the competent authorities to assume their responsibilities and to carry out the necessary spraying as well as the proper management of manure.

The Famagusta.News contacted him Common Leader, Nikos Vassilas, who expressed the strong dissatisfaction of the residents for the situation prevailing, calling on the competent services to intervene.
