An agreement for the supply and installation of new state-of-the-art showers on the beaches of the tourist area of Protaras was signed by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos.
The agreement provides for the supply and installation of 72 showers on a total of 18 beaches in the tourist area of Protaras.
The agreement was signed on behalf of LAG Trading Ltd by Mr. Lambros Antoniou.
The new state-of-the-art showers will feature, among other things, 4 showers per frame, a foot bath, lighting, as well as a contactless payment system.
As stated by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, the Municipality's goal is, on the one hand, to offer an upgraded experience to local and foreign visitors, as well as for the Municipality to contribute to further saving water thanks to the smart systems that the showers will offer.
The contract is expected to be completed this summer.
