Repeated violations of the regime in the buffer zone with unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), which took off from the occupied territories, were recorded on Saturday evening in the Deryneia area, close to the site of the anti-occupation event of the Municipality of Famagusta. According to information, the competent authorities are examining the incident, while they are expected to take relevant steps for violation of the status quo in the buffer zone.

According to information, the competent services are examining the data of the incident, as there are reports that the unmanned aircraft entered the airspace of the free areas and there may have been a violation of the existing regime in the buffer zone.
The case is expected to be subject to the necessary steps taken towards the competent bodies, while the Authorities are evaluating all the evidence at their disposal, including audiovisual material from the incident.
