The first session of the new Municipal Council of the Municipality of Famagusta was held yesterday Thursday, 04/04/2024, at the temporary City Hall in Limassol.
In a statement, the Municipality stated that "According to Article 13, paragraph 5(A) of the Law on Municipalities, the Municipal Council of our occupied Municipality proceeded with the election of the deputy mayor of the city. Mr. Chrysanthos Zannetos was re-elected deputy mayor. The new Board of Directors will continue the work aimed at returning to our beloved city".
