The choir of the Municipality of Famagusta and the Municipality of Paralimni participated in the 7th European Choir Festival, 15 -16 November 2021 at the Rialto Theater - Rialto Theater.

Specifically, the choirs were hosted:

  • The Hejnal Mazancowice Choir from Bielsko Biala, Poland.
  • The Fortis choir of St. Petersburg which is a small choir with participations in festivals all over Europe and which in its repertoire includes Cypriot songs in polyphonic arrangement by the Cypriot musician Andreas Kameris.
  • The choir Armonia Preveza, a well-known large choir for its laurels and for its large, annual international choir festival with the participation of hundreds of choirs from around the world.
  • The Argostoli mandolin choir, an amazing choir that will present the characteristic Ionian sound.
  • The choir of the Municipality of Famagusta which has been founded to keep alive the desire to return to the occupied city and to sing the songs of the refugees with great activity and a large repertoire of choral music.
  • The Melizona choir of the Municipality of Paralimni, which is presented with a fairly wide range of music.
