Under the title "The beauty of Varosia and the future of the TRNC" is published in the pro-government newspaper "Hurriet" a column, interspersed with elements of "secular reporting", by Hade Firat, where it is stated:

"Last Sunday, we toured the Closed Varossia with the 'chairman' of the 'TRBK' Ersin Tatar and Tatar made very important statements. After that, the 'E/K community', as they say, was in an uproar, the press was up in arms. The statements came one after the other:

Politis, the most authoritative newspaper of the 'E/K' side, used Tatar's interview on the front page.

* Ioannou, the so-called mayor of Varosia, responded to the remarks of the 'chairman' of 'TRBK' Ersin Tatar that "the next step in Varosia could be the opening of some public buildings" saying: "There is no end to provocative statements and activities".

* The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [sic] Dimitris Dimitriou used the term 'pseudo-crat' for the 'TRDBC'.

What should 'TRDBK' do?

* Services are sold to 'TDBK'. Two important sectors: Tourism and education, i.e. universities.

* Universities have now become international. The 21 universities are almost an island of youth with over 100.000 students. The 'E/K' are also angry and furious with this situation. On the one hand they are trying to open universities, on the other hand they state that they are using and challenging the organization founded by Nigerians in the 'TRNC' with the help of secret organizations and the US embassy in the 'E/K area'. This problem needs to be solved urgently.

* There is a significant amount of luxury housing in the 'TRNC', but as in Turkey, the need is for social housing. A social housing initiative can also be launched for 'TRDB'.

* The revitalization of 'TDBK' depends in a sense on the arrival of income from gambling and casinos on the island. For this purpose, an arrangement should be made regarding actual taxation.

* The number of sister municipalities should increase. Currently, some municipalities from Turkey are sister municipalities with some municipalities from 'TRDB'. This should be extended to all provinces. The fraternity should be converted into support in the field of services and infrastructure.

* The energy needs of 'TRDBK' are met with fuel oil. The world has changed, technology has developed. In the ΄'TDBK', which has 12 months of sunshine, solar panels should be installed as soon as possible and the energy stored with batteries".
