The maintenance work on the church of Agios Georgios in Limnia has been completed. A beautiful building with the first phase of the church dating back to the initial period of the Frankish rule. During the work, historical graffiti came to light which was a practical manifestation of the faith of the common people of the time.
According to Mr. Sotos Ktoris, a multitude of designs such as ploughs, ships, wheels, crosses, human figures but also inscriptions referring to people's food and wishes. The work was co-financed by the EU and the Community and implemented under the supervision of UNDP.
