Republican Turkish Party (RTK) "MP" Asim Akansoy spoke about the illegal allocation of six buildings in occupied Famagusta, which were previously used by the United Nations, to members of the National Unity Party (NUP).

According to the Press and Information Office, "Bugyun Kipris" writes that Mr. Akansoy claimed that these concessions took place during Dursun Oguz's tenure at the "Ministry of Interior", in the period 2015-16, and requested explanations.

Mr. Akansoy made public data on the six uninhabited buildings, it added, noting that they are mainly located around the old UN camp on Salamina Street. Among them, he mentioned the building opposite the current UN camp, two apartments towards the city walls, a building and a two-story building that had operated as a UN hospital. “Explain to whom and according to what legislation these buildings were granted,” said Akansoy, calling on Oguz to give clear answers to the “parliament.”
