The Municipality of Famagusta, in an effort not to lose the dream, creates "Moments of Famagusta", inviting the people of Famagusta to send their memories.
The announcement of the Municipality of Famagusta:
Dear fellow citizens, dear friends of Famagusta,
It is a warm request to those of you who wish it, send us stories from Famagusta, children's and teenagers' experiences, celebrations, landmarks and anything else that could help us so that in turn, we can bring back these special moments (which for some may be pleasant or unpleasant) to our memory.
We want to convey to all the fellow citizens of this place the greatness of Famagusta but also to pass on to the younger generations our history and experiences from the city of Evagoras.
Those of you who were not lucky enough to be born or to experience "MOMENTS OF FAMAGUSTA" could ask and record stories from your loved ones in your family and friendly environment.
The contribution of all of you is valuable to maintain the social fabric of our city. Their publication will take place after the evaluation of all the material which will be published either in printed or electronic form.
