The funeral of the Mayor of Famagusta, Alexis Galanou, who passed away yesterday while on vacation in Kos, will take place on Monday, July 22, in Nicosia.
As the Famagusta Mayor Chrysanthos Zannettou stated to KYPE, "The funeral of Alexis Galanos will be held next Monday, July 22 at five in the afternoon from the Holy Temple of God Sophia in Strovolos. So far it has not been clarified where the burial will take place ".
He added that "the legal autopsy on the body of Alexis Galanos will be performed at three in the afternoon at the Hospital of Kos in order to determine the cause of his death".
