Following a decision by the Paralimni - Deryneia Municipal Council, a letter was sent with the Municipality's fully documented recommendations to the Traffic Studies Agency, regarding the suspension of the photo-controlled crossing between Ayia Napa and Paralimni (at the height of the "ARIZONA" steam cleaner).
During the meeting of the Traffic Studies Agency, dated 23/10/2025, the positions of the Municipality were adopted and it was decided to temporarily suspend the operation of the crossing in question, due to the observed reduced use by pedestrians at the current time.
