Significant distinctions were won by the athletes of the Alexandros Avgorou School who participated with the National Cypriot team in the Pan-European Pan-National Sports Championship which started on October 24 and ended today in Alexandria, Romania.
The athletes of the school of Alexander the Great who took part with the national team of the National Sports, took the following positions:
- Androniki Pitsillou 1st place Semi-contact Games - 57 kg.
- Christos Papantoniou 3rd place - 62 kg Semi-contact Games.
- Christos Papantoniou and Androniki Pitsillou mixed wrestling (Self Defense techniques) 3rd place.
