For the first time, the Avgoros Community Council and the Association "Pericles Dimitriou" organize a road race in the Community with the title "EVAGORIA 2022".
The race will be held in memory of the victims of traffic accidents and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
On Sunday 29/5 in the Community Square at 9:00 am, the start of the race will be held while at the same point will be the finish.
The race will include 3 routes, 1km, 5km and 10 km.

ΔιαδρομήThe one kilometer route where it will start from the square directly opposite the church of Agios Georgios, a 12th century building, passes through the ethnographic museum and in about 200 meters, near the EKO gas station, there will be a return to the starting point where the finish will be.
👉 The 5 km route will start as the previous one with the difference that after returning to the area after the museum, the runners will turn from the traffic lights to the right, in a northerly direction to the Achna dam. After the parking lot of the Technical School there will be the point of return where there will be a station with water and a sign cuckoo, then again a path to the traffic lights where we will turn right towards the square for finish.
Διαδρομή The route of 10 starts like the previous ones, with the difference that it extends to the dam of Achna, where we will turn left, moving forward we will leave the Church of Agios Georgios of Teratsiotis in our right 10th century building, to the monument of the fallen and missing of the community where you will return and return to the community.
.Note that along the way there will be markers from the organized ensembles and cuckoos that indicate the course as well as signs on the road floor.

An artistic program with Cypriot and Greek dances will follow, while at the same time french fries will be offered for everyone!
Participation for children up to 12 years old in the one kilometer route is FREE. For adults the cost of the routes is € 5 for the five kilometers and € 10 for the ten kilometers.
