Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 16:30 p.m., the funeral of 19-year-old Styliani Giorgalli, who died today Monday in a fatal traffic accident on the Avgorou-Frenarus road, will be held. In addition, Avgorou declared three days of mourning today.
It is noted that in a fatal road collision that took place this morning in Avgorou, Styliani Giorgalli, 19 years old from Avgorou, lost her life.
According to the Police, the road collision occurred at around 7 in the morning, when the saloon car driven by the 19-year-old woman on the Avgoros - Frenaros road heading towards Frenaros, at a point on the road where there is a right turn, under circumstances which are being investigated, lost control and hit a guard rail on the left side of the road in line with its course and came to rest in the middle of the road.
From the impact, the 19-year-old was fatally injured (she was taken by ambulance to the Famagusta General Hospital in Paralimni where she was pronounced dead).
The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating the circumstances of the new fatality.
