A man with a huge offer in football, was honored yesterday Thursday (14/10) in Avgorou.
The reason for him Spyros Chrysostomou, which was honored and supported today by the teams he offered for a number of years.
Spyros, born in the occupied Trikomo, started his career in the team of his village. After the invasion, he played in other teams with most of his career being in National Achnas. He stayed at "Dasaki" even after the end of his football career, offering in various positions with most of his years being an assistant coach in the 90 'when Ethnikos was established and made permanent in the First Division. After leaving Ethnikos, he offered to his two teams Avgorou, THO and Evagoras.
A typical example of his contribution to Cypriot football are three of the names that played an active role in their development and evolution, Giotis and Pampos Engomitis and Spyros Kastanas. These are three of the many cases of footballers that Chrysostomou took from a young age in the National Team, he trained them when they did not have the means to do so and who was their football… father in their first steps.
On Thursday night (14/10), at the "Community Stadium of Avgorou", everyone was there. From the President of the National Kiki Filippou to the Commander and the Prefect of the Bases.
