Friday marks two years since the Tempi tragedy. The second annual memorial service for Kyprianos Papaioannou from Avgorou, who lost his life in the Tempi train accident, was held yesterday morning.
The annual memorial service of Kyprian was held at the Holy Church of Apostles Peter and Paul in Avgorou and after the Divine Liturgy there was a trisage at his grave.
A crowd of people, the family, relatives, friends of the 23-year-old Kyprianos attended the memorial service to honor his memory.
The commandos wore T-shirts with Kyprianou's photo and chanted slogans while holding torches.
