Lavender Festival 2022 at Cyherbia in Avgorou, celebrates 10 years of wonderful experiences! The Lavender Festival in Cyherbia will last for two weeks.
The Festival started on June 11 and ends on June 26, you can walk in the beautiful gardens with lavender.
The FamagustaNews visited the herb garden and walked in the Lavender Gardens. There was the owner Miranda Trigki and her daughter Melina Triki who gave us all the details of the Festival.
In Cyherbia there are also informative tours that take place every 30 minutes, all day. With one visit the visitor can gain a lot!
You can:
- Learn about the benefits of lavender as a tea and as an essential oil
- Watch the extraction of lavender essential oil in the distillation chamber
- Enjoy soft drinks & desserts made with lavender at Botanicus Bistro!
- Participate in many workshops, from yoga and dance classes to children's crafts, as well as photography.

Lavender gardens are designed as a meditation maze.
During our Lavender Festival and throughout the lavender season, you can take a meditation walk in the lavender gardens. You will be given a written meditation guide that you can follow and at the end of your meditation path you will be able to write a wish on a piece of paper and place it in the wish pots in the middle of the lavender garden.
"This meditation invites you to transform parts of your inner world, to release the old and to attract the new!"
The Botanical Garden is open daily, from 9:00 to 20:00!
