Wheeled canteen in Avgorou suffered extensive damage from fire.
According to the Fire Service, "a fire broke out yesterday afternoon in a wheeled food preparation canteen which was parked in a field in Avgorou".
To extinguish the fire, the Famagusta Fire Station responded with a vehicle.
The fire was extinguished by locals, while the members of the Fire Service proceeded with the final extinguishing of the fire and inspection of the point.
The fire damaged the mobile canteen extensively.
The scene was cordoned off by the Police and guarded during the night.
Today the Fire Service, the Police and the Electromechanical Service will investigate the causes of the fire.
