A 45-year-old man was arrested yesterday on a warrant and remanded in custody to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of attempted destruction of property with explosives.

Specifically, on July 19, 2018, it was reported to the Police that in the early hours of the same day, according to what I first broadcast on Famagusta.News with exclusive information, at 02:38 in the morning, there was an explosion outside the house of a 74-year-old woman, on Michalaki Karaoli Street in the Community of Avgorou.
Examinations revealed that the explosion was caused by a grenade, while causing minor damage to the house wall.
