Father Christodoulos Papaioannou gave an interview to Neolea Nikis.
Asked what Kyprianos is believed to be saying to young people today, Father Christodoulos said that "he has many things to say to young people and to elders. Kyprianos was one of my favorite children. What I observe now after a year, I pray to see this whole mystery of the death of the new man of the new child which at first filled us with pain but it did not remain pain it turned into a spiritual supply not only for us, I see it working as a model for other young people".
Father Christodoulos said that the biggest investment Kyprian made is Christ. "Invest in Christ never put Him second."
Describing Kyprianos, the father said that his words were always precise, measured, he made jokes, he was careful with his speech. "I could see that he had this anxiety not to betray Christ, he was restrained in everything," he added.
Kyprian's Father said that "I was impressed that he himself was inspired to learn history, Romanism and Orthodoxy".
He also said that "when I come to the grave, I feel Kyprian very close to me, I feel him close to me, he has a power to comfort our soul and our struggle".
