A fire broke out in a two-storey house at 23:02, in the community of Avgorou in the province of Famagusta.
Members of the Police and the Fire Brigade responded, from the Famagusta Fire Station to Sergeant Adamou Adamou, with two staffed fire trucks.
The fire was brought under control at 23:43. The fire and heat damaged a bedroom on the first floor of the two-story house, as well as its contents.
No tenants were in danger. The cause of the fire is being investigated, later today, in collaboration with the Police.
