A particularly important success for the education of the region is recorded with the inclusion of the Famagusta - Avgorou Technical School in the international network XARXA FP, a renowned organization that promotes cooperation between municipalities and educational institutions of Technical and Vocational Education (TEEK).
The decision to join the School was taken unanimously during the work of the organization's 26th General Assembly held in Alcoy, Spain, confirming the high level of educational activities and initiatives developed at the School.
The XARXA FP network is an international non-profit organization that promotes cooperation between cities and Technical and Vocational Education institutions, with the aim of improving the quality of training and enhancing the professional experience of students through Erasmus+ programs.
The School's candidacy was actively supported by the Municipality of Ayia Napa, highlighting the importance of close cooperation between the local government and the educational community in creating new opportunities for young people.

During the assembly, the presentation of the School's work, actions and vision was made by teachers Christina Kyprianou, Assistant Director, and Eric Fisentzidis, who highlighted the high level of the educational programs and the dynamic development of the school unit.
By joining the XARXA FP network, new perspectives for international collaborations, exchanges and professional opportunities are opened for students, substantially enhancing extroversion and the quality of vocational education.
In a message on his personal Facebook account, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, expressed his warm congratulations to the School, the teachers and the students for this significant success, emphasizing that the Municipality will continue to actively support initiatives that promote education, innovation and the creation of new perspectives for the youth of the region. "This success is an honor for the Municipality of Ayia Napa and proves that through cooperation we can create meaningful opportunities for our young people," he said.
He also assured that the Municipality of Ayia Napa will continue to actively support education and efforts that contribute to the development of skills, international experience and professional prospects of students.
