Today, the two Cypriot students who lost their lives on Tuesday night (28/2) after the fatal train collision in Tempi are being buried.

The bodies of Anastasia Adamidou and Kyprianos Papaioannou arrived in Cyprus on Sunday afternoon.

Specifically, an Aegean flight transported the bodies of Kyprianos Papaioannou and Anastasia Adamidou from Thessaloniki to the old Larnaca airport. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Konstantinos Kombos, and the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Marilena Evangelou, were there.

The body of Kyprianos Papaioannou was transferred to the Holy Church of Apostles Peter and Paul in Avgorou, where an all-night divine service was held. At ten in the morning, in the same church, the exodus service will be sung. The family's request is that those who will attend the funeral of the deceased young man, wear white clothes.

Instead of wreaths, contributions should be given for the completion of the maintenance works of the Holy Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul.

Anastasia's body was taken from Larnaca airport to her hometown, Paphos.

According to a statement from the family of the deceased, the funeral of their beloved daughter and sister Anastasia Adamidis will be held at 14:00 p.m. in the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro in Paphos and invite those who honor her memory to attend.

According to the statement, the family will not accept condolences.

Also, the family's request is that instead of wreaths, contributions be made to support the family of a relative with a serious health problem.

Both Anastasia's family and Kyprianos' family requested that the funeral procession and burial not be covered by the Mass Media.
