The Municipality of Ayia Napa, following information from the Holy Metropolis of Constantia/Famagusta, informs the public that on the occasion of the festive celebrations for the feast of our Holy and God-bearing Father Kendeas the miracle worker at the Holy Monastery of Agios Kendeas, located in the Municipal District of Avgorou, a piece of his sacred relic will be exhibited for veneration in the Monastery.
According to the information, the venerable relic will be exposed for veneration from Vespers on Saturday, September 27th, from 6:00 in the afternoon and daily from 6:30 in the morning until 8:00 throughout the ten-day festive events until the evening of October 6th.
Throughout the ten days, Vespers, Intercessions, Greetings and Divine Liturgy will be celebrated daily. The program of the festive services of the Holy Monastery of Saint Kendea will also be posted on the website of the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta at www.imconstantias.org.cy – Parishes – Holy Monasteries – Chapels, on the Facebook page of the Monastery “Holy Monastery of Saint Kendea” and on Viber “Holy Monastery of Saint Kendea Famagusta” and “Friends of Saint Kendea”.
