The Famagusta Autism Support Association and the Run For Autism Famagusta Team road volunteers proudly announce the holding of the 5th Run for Autism, which will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Ayia Napa. This is one of the most important charitable sports events in Cyprus, which has managed to become an international benchmark, attracting 3.500 runners from 25 different countries in its previous event.

The event will have as its starting point the Nissi Bay Bar in Ayia Napa.

The competition program is particularly rich and includes:

07:15 – Nissi Bay Bar Half Marathon 21km
07:30 – Sweet Home Estates 10km
09:50 – Park Paliatso 5km Individual
09:50 – UNICARS 5km Corporate
10:55 – 1 km run in memory of Iakovos Triaros
11:05 – Achnagal Galataki Children's 500-meter race

The route will lead participants from Nissi Bay to Agia Thekla in Sotira and back again, offering a unique running experience by the sea, on a route suitable for personal records at all distances.

A special feature of the event is that the route will pass through the impressive Ayia Napa Marina, offering runners the opportunity to enjoy the unique landscape of one of the most important infrastructure projects in the area. The organizers express their warm thanks to Ayia Napa Marina for their excellent cooperation and practical support in the realization of the race.

The Run for Autism Half Marathon stands out as it is a purely voluntary initiative, without any commercial or profit-making nature. All proceeds from the event will be allocated exclusively to the Famagusta Autism Support Association, directly supporting the families of individuals on the autism spectrum and the operation of the “Smile Project” Day Center in the Sotiras Municipal District. The Center offers specialized programs and a safe development environment for children and adults.

The Famagusta Autism Support Association, the Run For Autism Famagusta Team and the Municipality of Ayia Napa invite the public to actively participate, sending a resounding message of acceptance, unity and social awareness. The power of giving and togetherness can change lives beyond the finish line.

Participation Information: Registration for all routes is done through the official website: https://run-forautism.com/.
