Interesting and informative Master Class presented by the renowned lawyer Mr. George Arestis on the topic "The European Union through the eyes of George Arestis" in the context of the European Dimension Festival of "Agia Napa 2030".
The internationally renowned jurist, former judge of the Supreme Court of Cyprus and former judge of the Court of the European Union, shared his experiences and memories from his ten-year term at the Union Court with the public, Mr. George Arestis at the Master Class on "The European Union through the eyes of George Arestis" that he gave on Thursday, December 05, 2024, at the "Giorgos Seferis" Cultural Center of Ayia Napa.
Mr. Arestis also made reference to his views on the importance of Cyprus' entry into the EU, but also on broader issues related to the path of the union towards its completion.
The event was organized by "Agia Napa 2030", a candidate for "European Capital of Culture in 2030", within the framework of the European Dimension Festival.
