By the end of this year, he added, more than 4m euros are expected to be made available through the program to winemakers and winemakers from purely European resources. To date, he continued, a total of about 18 million euros have been disbursed for the period 2014-2017 for significant support measures, such as the restructuring of vineyards with varieties that enjoy greater acceptance in the wine market, modernization investments in wineries, etc.
The event, he noted, inaugurates similar events that will take place in the framework of the 11th Cyprus Wine Competition and the participation of a significant number of winemakers, demonstrates the great importance given to this institution by those directly interested.
