The complainant stated that the unknown person followed her while she was walking in Ayia Napa to the point where he attacked her and that when she called a relative, the man fled in an unknown direction."
The 23-year-old also mentioned that she "managed to record the perpetrator with her mobile phone camera".
Moreover, "around 4:30 in the morning on Saturday, March 25, a complaint was made to the Ayia Napa Police Station by a 25-year-old woman from Lithuania, a resident of Ayia Napa, that an hour and a half earlier, while she was returning home from a night out, an unknown man was following her and he was talking to her, as a result of which he became burdensome.
Upon her arrival at her house and while she was trying to close the door, the stranger pushed the door and entered the house, causing the 25-year-old to start shouting and asking him to leave, while he grabbed her by the neck and held her legs".
