The work of the first part of the 2th International Sculpture Symposium of the Municipality of Ayia Napa will begin on May 2023, 9 at the Sculpture Park, and will last until June 30, 2023.
In Phase 9 of the XNUMXth International Sculpture Symposium, six artists from Italy, France, Russia, Ukraine and Iran will participate after being selected with the status of assignment, who will create thirteen works with Cypriot stone, the thematics of which will originate mainly from the Greek Mythology and will be works of modern subject matter and technique.
Through the organization of the first part of the 9th International Sculpture Symposium, the Municipality of Ayia Napa aims to further enrich the Park and the external spaces of the Municipality and to give the public the opportunity to experience the art of Sculpture.
During the Symposium, various events will also be organized, including guided tours - excursions to various regions of our country so that the artists can get to know the history and culture of our island.
After the completion of the works, a large event will be held at the "Thalassa" Municipal Museum during which the works will be presented and the artists will be honored both by the Municipality of Ayia Napa and by the Association "΄Aroma" Friends of the Agia Sculpture Park Go.
