"The Unsatisfied" by Dimitris Psathas from the Satirical Theater, as part of the Quarterly Theater Performances of the Municipality of Agia Napa. Friday 10/2 at 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Theater of Agia Napa. Free entrance!
A few words about the play: A prolific writer and a master of comedy and laughter, Psathas captures in "Ahortagos" one of the greatest passions, that of greed. With his caustic pen he sketches the advantageous man who can't get enough of anything and nothing satisfies his insatiable ambition. In the introductory note to the first, very successful performance of the play in 1966 by the Gionaki troupe, Psathas writes: With "Ahortagos" I wanted to offer a human type, representative of the type of our fellow human beings, who, no matter what they acquire, are not satisfied and they always yearn for "something else", believing themselves that their happiness is further and further away."
