Evidence against the 17-year-old emerged when members of the Police spotted him looking suspiciously at cars parked in an area in Ayia Napa early this morning.

Suspicions were then raised against the 17-year-old, regarding the theft of a sum of money from a parked car, which was committed yesterday morning, also in the area of ​​Ayia Napa, since he allegedly resembles the perpetrator of the theft. A judicial arrest warrant was issued against him, pursuant to which he was arrested and taken into custody, for the purpose of investigating the case.

The theft was reported yesterday, Wednesday, at the Ayia Napa Police Station, by a 58-year-old man. According to the 58-year-old's complaint, around 6.00:7.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. on Wednesday, his wallet with the money it contained was stolen from his car, which was parked in a church parking lot in Ayia Napa.
