The autopsy on the body of the 34-year-old man, who was found dead on Friday morning in a field in Ayia Napa, was completed without clear conclusions regarding the cause of death.
The newly-announced autopsy was conducted today by the forensic pathologist Nikolas Charalambous, but no apparent cause of death was identified. For this purpose, samples were taken for toxicological and histopathological examinations, which are expected to provide answers within the next few days.
The 34-year-old was found dead yesterday morning by citizens, who informed the authorities.
