The very successful event of the Agricultural world in the area of ​​Ayia Napa continues again this year, inviting locals and tourists to celebrate and taste the various traditional dishes that our place offers.

Specifically, the "Union of Cypriot Farmers" EKA Famagusta, in collaboration with the Municipality of Agia Napa, is organizing for one more year the beloved Agricultural Festival of Cultural Heritage for 2022.

The Festival will take place on Friday, July 29, at 8 pm, in the central Square of Ayia Napa (next to the large church, below the monastery of Ayia Napa) and is under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Mr. Costas Kadi .

During the Festival, traditional products will be prepared as well as various types of Cypriot Handicrafts which will be available for sale as well as Ofto Kleftiko and drinks. There will also be various other stands, around 8 in total, and in them halloumi and bread, pastry and morsels will be made on site for taste lovers and to inform the public (mainly children) about how the products are made.

The organizers also prepared a rich artistic program with music, dances, songs as well as Poems and Chiattistas.

The dance group "Kimon" and the Ayia Napa Dance Club participate in the dance.

In music, Theofanis Theofanous on violin, Antonis Koryzis on voice and lute, Andreani Kyprianou on voice and santouri.

Speaking to Sigmalive, the organizer, AKEL Member of Parliament and District Secretary of "EKA" Famagusta, Giannakis Gabriel said that the festival organized by the Union of Cypriot Farmers of Famagusta has now been established as an institution and is held together with the Municipality of Agia Napa. "We invite everyone to come and spend a beautiful evening with their family and friends. The evening will include a rich traditional and musical-artistic program, various Cypriot dishes will be offered, Cypriot and traditional products and other items will be sold for those who are interested, as well as ofto kleftiko and drinks will be served" emphasized Giannakis Gabriel.
