The immediate mobilization of members of the Ayia Napa Police Station, after a call for a burglary, led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man, who was found inside a pharmacy, according to a Police announcement.
Specifically, around 5 am. today, the alarm sounded in a pharmacy in Ayia Napa. Members of the Ayia Napa Police Station immediately went to the scene, where they found an unknown man inside the pharmacy. The stranger was wearing a hat and gloves, while his face was covered by a mask and he was holding an iron crowbar and a shoulder bag.
As soon as the stranger noticed the officers, he tried to escape, however the members of the Police managed to stop him inside the building. In his attempt to escape, the unknown resisted, as a result of which he was immobilized by the police.
From the examinations that followed, it was established that it was a 33-year-old man, while in his possession, after an investigation, various burglary tools, the sum of €80 and various pharmaceutical products were found in his possession.
The 33-year-old was arrested for a felony and was remanded in custody for facilitation.
