We saw and heard... three words that directly take you back to the past.
How was I inspired, one would ask this issue? We all find ourselves daily reminiscing about our childhood and traveling back to those days when the smallest things made us happy. I remember myself discussing the plot of the series with her friends at school and waiting for the afternoon episode. I will tell you about my own moment that I remembered... maybe it will become yours along the way and if it happens we will meet on June 21, Friday at 7:30 pm at the Municipal Theater of Agia Napa.
As a young girl who loved music, in Mila I had a hero role model that I would like to be in his place. So this was Ioanna (Mariam Venizelou) who accompanied her wonderful voice with the piano in Stelios Pisii's masterpiece "The train of life". This song after all these years I continue to sing and teach it to my students with the same enthusiasm I had when I was only 9 years old.
After this memory followed Aegia Fuxia, For your love, and more and more and more... until a whole performance was created.
The purpose is through this show to take a small journey through time, awakening memories of people who watched these series, but also to put our own little harp with a note of music that will frame the whole and perfect the meaning that the director wants to convey, as well as the emotions he wants to evoke.
It is great to see children from 4 years old to teenagers and adults serving this show with such enthusiasm and passion. Without my students and also my musician friends I would not be able to carry out such a demanding performance.
The show includes typical scenes that you've SEEN, but also songs that you've HEARD through favorite Cypriot series.
The performance is organized by the Florence Savva Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Studies under the auspices of the Municipality of Ayia Napa. In the teaching and supervision of Koula Kyriazis.
