A serious incident involving a woman who was in danger of drowning occurred on Saturday morning in Ayia Napa.
According to the "Evagoras" Famagusta Lifesaving Club, the incident with a woman occurred today around 9:40 am on Makronisos beach in Agia Napa.
The woman was provided with first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, use of a defibrillator and oxygen by lifeguards of the Famagusta Provincial Administration.
An ambulance was called to the scene, which picked up the woman and rushed her to Famagusta General Hospital.
