A special event marking the official start of the 2025 summer season is being organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Cultural Center and Central Square of Ayia Napa "Georgos Seferis".
On Friday, May 9, 2025 at 8:30 p.m., "George Seferis" Square will be transformed into a vibrant space of culture and celebration, next to the historic Medieval Monastery, where guests as well as local and foreign visitors will experience the magic of the city through a rich artistic program.
As Mayor Christos Zannetou stated in his statements, "City Day" is now an institution for Ayia Napa and aims to promote its cultural identity through traditional music, dance and songs, as well as through various other activities."
"With respect for tradition but also with an eye on the modern tourist face of our region," added Mr. Zannettou, "the event aspires to offer an unforgettable experience to all attendees."
