This is the first upgraded beach that offers "quality of services" in Cyprus by a local authority and in fact the rental prices based on the beach use plans by the Central Beaches Committee, ie € 2.50 the sunbed and € 2.50 the umbrella.

Specifically, 50 sunbeds, 25 sun visors and six "bells" have been placed on the beach, reminiscent of exotic beaches.

The Mayor of Ayia Napa stated in his statements that within the framework of the Participatory Budget, the Pancyprian Hoteliers Association proposed to upgrade a beach and then proceeded with the planning and then an offer was announced. Giannis Karousos also stated that the goal of the Municipality is to make this upgrade on an annual basis and in the coming years a similar type of upgrade to be done on all the beaches of Ayia Napa, while the Municipality plans to upgrade two by 2020 large beaches.
