The Police are recommending simple protective measures to prevent incidents of property theft from beaches, which are visited by a large number of citizens during this summer period, following an incident of property theft from a beach, which was reported, in the Famagusta district.
According to a complaint filed with the Famagusta Police Station, a 36-year-old man, while yesterday Saturday, between the hours of 11.00:3.00 a.m. and 5,000:3,500 p.m., was on a beach in the Ayia Napa area, had a jewelry bag stolen from his beach bag, which contained a men's and a women's watch, worth 2,500 and XNUMX euros respectively, and an engagement ring, made of white gold and with a small diamond, worth XNUMX euros.
In addition to the policing measures taken during the summer period to prevent incidents of theft in coastal, as well as mountain resorts and picnic areas, the public is advised to be vigilant and citizens are urged to take measures to more effectively protect their property.
