The Ayia Napa Municipal District - Municipality of Ayia Napa and Nireas Triathlon inform the public that on Sunday, March 30, 2025, the International Triathlon Race "Ayia Napa Triathlon 2025" will be held in Ayia Napa for the tenth consecutive year, which is proudly and successfully organized by the Ayia Napa Municipal District in collaboration with Nireas Triathlon.
For the purposes of holding the race, which includes swimming, cycling and running, a large part of the public road network needs to be dedicated to the safety of the athletes, specifically:
Nisi Ave. from the height of the Adams Hotel to Asprovounou and then on Tefkrou Anthia, Michalis Kasialou, until the Police roundabout, then on Kavo Greco Ave., Protaras Ave. until the turn towards the Grecian Park roundabout, and then on Kavo Greco Street until the exit to Protaras Ave.
The majority of the run will take place on the bike path from the Adams Hotel to Agia Thekla and the public is asked to use it with caution and keep the passage clear.
The race will start at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to end at 2.00:XNUMX p.m.
The section of the route from the Police roundabout, then on Kavo Gkreko Ave., Protaras Ave. until the turn to the Grecian Park roundabout, and then on Kavo Gkreko St. until the exit to Protaras Ave. will be completely closed to traffic and communication between Ayia Napa and Protaras will be via Paralimni only. In the remaining section and especially at the roundabouts, the organizers ask that due to the passage of cyclists and runners, traffic be carried out with the utmost caution and in compliance with the instructions of the Police and the judges, as well as the marking signs on the route.
